About
Torc Café and Food Hall was established in Longford Town in 1997 by its owner Ruth McGarry Quinn. The extensive premises is located on New Street on the way into Longford Town, on the left-hand side after you pass St. Mel's Cathedral.
The Café has a relaxed atmosphere, serving simply good food with the aroma of fresh roast coffee and chocolate. Our food hall is stocked with a range of our exclusive specialty foods made here in Longford Town. Our selection of homemade cakes and tasty treats is always a talking point for all our customers.
We have been voted among the top ten cafes in Ireland Food & Wine Magazine and have also featured on many occasions in the Irish Times and the Bridgestone Irish Food Guide. We carry an extensive range of our own handmade products from truffles to preserves and of course our famous Torc House Dressing. We also supply luxury cakes to order.
Our gift department is a "must" for any occasion, whether it's an anniversary, birthday, some self-indulgence, or a sweet way to share some love with loved ones! Gift vouchers are available for amounts ranging from €20 - €100 and can be purchased online and in-store. Food and wine gift boxes and hampers are on sale throughout the year and our Christmas Collection can be purchased or ordered from November onwards.
